I escaped to Vegas where it’s hot and sunny wi than gloomy Seattle  It was a great get away to celebrate my 7th year anniversary without kids.  We enjoyed time with a round of golf at our regular course Paiute, good foods, and company of new and old friends. We had a great time.  I found this high-low asymmetry floral bold print dress from  TJMax  with the intention of wear at the pool but I decided to change for evening look for dinner by pairing with H&M green blazer (still in store now) with an oversize Banana Republic belt.

This is one of my favorite commission project strassing a very feminine and cute project for my dearest friend, Susan.  The mini flap is not a standard size mini, it’s vintage mini mini size with classic gold chain in pink canvas aka fabric.  Susan wants to transform this flap so she can use it for evening or she can tucks in as use it as a wallet or pochette  inside her bag.   It strassed in Light Rose Swarovski Crystals.  I cannot find words to describe this so let the pics speak to you.

Sharing with you another strassing authenic Chanel bag project that I did ahead of schedule than I anticipated.  This is one very special project to me because I wanted to be done so I can wear on my 7th anniversary in Vegas.  This is a larger size of flap than my last one, it’s in  medium size.  I strassed with  Silver Shade Swarovski crystals.  The crystals sparkle incredibly, it sparkles differently depending on lighting.  I have taken pic from outdoor lighting when sun is down and indoor evening lighting.  I think this crystal is my favorite of all the crystals color; I love it so much that I will do a match pair Christian  Louboutin shoes to match.

Indian Siam Chanel Mini Flap & Silver Shade Chanel Medium Flap

I am a Chanel lover so I decided to make a fun statement bag by strassing swarovski crystals onto my Chanel mini flap with Gold Hardware. Chanel Las Vegas Bellagio Exclusive trunk show came out and limited exlusive gorgoues full crystal bags in 2012 with pricing ranging for $10,000-$18,000. As much as I love Chanel, the price tage is overboard for me. I decided my mini with Indiam Siam because the orginal already in dark red so I went ahead and select Indian Siam 2058 swarovski crystals to be strassed. This flap took longer compare to Loubies because it has more surface area. I lost count of how many total crystals.   Presenting to you my own creation of Chanel blingy crystals bag.

Sometimes,  I do thrift shopping not so often. Once in awhile I found something cute and undervalued and  in mint condition.  Last year, I  read several books on consignment, vintage, and thrift shopping.  I will write another post for  on the book review.  As for this outfit, I found them from drive by after work after I conducted a building audit a couple blocks down.   This thift store ran by the Junior League  (non-profit).   I swinged by and found H&M fitted for $.50 and blue pencil for $1.50, and red handbag brand new for $13.  My rule of thumb for thrift shopping is buying only clothes that fit best for my body without any alteration because my sewing skill is nada, and only buy quality and great condition.  You did not dry clean my skirt; I cold wash and flat dry and iron myself so there this no addition cost added.  Getting the right fit as important as getting a great deal.

Who says looking chic and fresh cost burn a hold in your wallet?  I believe you can pull a fabulous out with fraction of retail plus the money you spend help pay for the charitable program.  I spent $2.00 for the blouse and skirt and $13 for handbag.  I used the Coach shoes that I purchased 7 years ago and Anthropogies belt I got many moons ago as well.  People at my office paid many compliments on the look of the outfit.

I wore this outfit on Saturday night to a casual evening a dinner and night out of live music and dancing. Through out my work weekday, I was either in a pencil or touser so I wanted something chic, casual, and comfortable for a night out. Mustard color goes better pairing with something that is dark such dark blue or black. This is an effortless outfit and  finished off the look with statement accessories combination of fine jewlery mixing with forever 21 bangle and some designers custome and oversize clutch. I had a wonderful time with great friends and dancing all night with my strassing Louboutin No Prive heels.

This was my last 2012 personal shoes project and I experimented and played with strassing a fancy shapes and colorful swarovski crystals. The step cut crystals are gorgoues I wish that I know how to make jewelery because some of the crystals are just divine on necklace, earrings, and ring; however, I yet desire to learn. In the meantime, I am in love with sparkling shoes with crystals. I must say this is an electic patterns and colours I got the inspiration from Mui Mui’s embellishment collection. As though my strassing crystal shoes are not my everyday style to work or picking up the kids, but I am just as satisfy just to one them on weekend or occasions.

Girls Luncheon at Crystals along with our Hermes sidekicks. All of these colors look wonderful. It is well known that Hermes colors are time tested and any new colors introduced into the lineup are researched and considered at length.

Every friend has a story about their handbag; a surprise gift or long wait on the list for the Birkin. We all have similar and familiar stories we can laugh about together. Of course there is always talk about kids, health, and fitness. I really enjoyed this afternoon just with my girlfriends away from my lovely children and adoring husband

I recently went to benefit event right after golf event. Usually after golf, I don’t have much energy left to doll up. I passively grabbed an outfit that did not requires any ironing and that is little loose to cover myself if I decided to stuff myself with yummy foods. I choose the Renzo and Tai pallete top in cream beige that I got from last season sales from Nordstrom Rack. I restyled with the old Blazer and Trousser that I had.

The event was awesome and I did in fact buried myself the delicious foods. I did not caught myself on time by not having red wine. When wearing light colour I tried to avoid colorful drinks in case I spilled on myself.

Happy sunny day to Seattlist. I spent my morning with chores and I decided to BBQ to eat out and enjoy a nice day with my boys. The salad recipe is the same as Day 1 but I added on yellow beets. For this lunch I had a few pieces of spare ribs and some grilled veggies. I feel this week is my last harvest of the blackberries so I maximize the usage of for this meal; I had it in drinks, salad, and fruit bowl.
