Repainting a wood vanity
Don’t know if you remember that I got this wood French Shabby vanity table from craigslist when I did my walk-in closet a couple years ago. I got a new vanity set up and needing a working desk for two days a week working from home. I wanted this vanity/desk to go with the rest of my closet color scheme. Since I have a lot of paint left so I think this vanity/desk would be a good candidate for a makeover.

Last week, my husband extended his helping hands with transporting the kids to and from their extra activities so I had little time to swing by my favorite store T.J. Maxx and Nordstrom Rack. I walked into the store without expecting to find anything. I just wanted to unwind my long day.
The trip to T.J. Maxx was indeed an exciting. I found an incredible deals on designer pieces I love and it’s still a current season at the regular department store. I found a wonderful deals on Phoebe Couture Strapless Cocktail dress on clearance sale for $50. This beautiful dress originally $295. If you don’t have near by T.J. Maxx store and love this dress, you can get it from Neiman Marcus online and it’s on sale for $177.
I found another piece from T.J. Maxx is the two James Perse Standard Boyfriend Tops with 3/4 sleeves marked down for $15 each. The regular price at revolveclothing or JamesPerse would be $95. It’s a great basic tee shirt for jeans and short and yoga pants.
There is not like exciting like scoring a super bargain. On Thursday, I swung by to return item that I purchased prior to Christmas. I did a quick loop around the store and went to the clearance racks and I spotted Tadashi Shoji Peplum Lace dress size 4 for $99.97, originally $320 at Nordstrom. I snapped a picture of it and texted to my dearest friend who has the same dress size as me. I asked her if she likes it and if she would like me to get it for her. She passed due to its neckline. Then Sunday came, I went to the Rack again just because it’s close to T. J. Maxx. This time, I went straight to clearance racks and I spot the same Tadashi Shoji dress but except this time, it has second marked down to $19.90. Oh boy! Now, it’s a deal I cannot pass. I went to the fitting room and tada! I jumped for joy for another super bargain deal.
